If it tries to start on this then you know the problem is fuel-related at least. ![]() Try starting it by putting a small amount of fuel into the intake, WD-40 works well. You mention a lot of pressure from the crankcase via the rocker cover, on an older machine this will happen from blow-by, but it should not be very substantial. If the engine is cranking over fine, developing compression and getting fuel but not starting, check this shut off. Both of these methods stop the engine by dumping the fuel back to the tank instead of into the engine for ignition. Hola Brian, depending on how the controls to the engine are arranged on your machine the engine is stopped by either an electric solenoid or a cable-pull. I have a takeauchi 1.5 ton digger with a yanmar 3 cyc 3n engine i have tried everything to start the thing i am being politeįuel glow plugs ect has any body got any ideas compresion seems ok there is a lot of pressure from the rocker cver vent /
